At Appliance Technical services, we pride ourselves in ensuring our customer's have a clear understanding
of the level's of service both during and after the repair of a domestic kitchen appliance.
We try to make the process of having your appliance repaired as painless as possible. With this in mind, below is a list of FAQ's to help ensure that you know how the process works from booking online your engineer through to the repair of your domestic appliance!
Question: Who are Appliance Technical Services?
Answer: We have been in business for over 20 years, trading through the last 2 recessions, continuing to give our customer's the very highest levels of service has put us in a very strong and sound footing.
Question: What's included in the initial fee?
Answer: We have a fixed labour/call out fee of £48 for free standing appliances and £60 for built in appliances, regardless off how long we spend fixing your appliance. There is no additional charge should the engineer have to return with spare parts required to fix your appliance.
Question: How long is the repair warranty?
Answer: There is a full 12 months parts and labour warranty on all repairs, this is industry leading as the average warranty period is 3 months. This means that you have total piece of mind and confidence in what we do when repairing your kitchen appliance!
Question: What if my old appliance can't be repaired?
Answer: If your old appliance is beyond economical repair (BER) we will refund 25% of the labour/callout fee as a good will gesture. However we have access to over 1,000,000 spare parts to make sure we get your appliance repaired in the fastest possible time. Engineers vans are constantly stocked with the latest spares and our online spares ordering system ensures fast delivery of out of stock parts if our engineers require.
Question: Can I book online or do I have to phone the Freephone number?
Answer: Yes, you can book online, we have a book now box on every page to make this as easy as possible! You can also call or text us and we will return your call to establish how our support team can help deal efficiently with your enquiry.
Question: What methods of payment do you accept?
Answer: We accept all major credit cards through PayPal when you book online or call our freephone number. We also accept cash when the engineer call's to fix your defective kitchen appliance.
Question: How quickly can you come out to fix my faulty appliance?
Answer: We offer 2 levels of service, firstly there is the Standard service which is within 48 hours of the call being logged either online or via our freephone number. Secondly there is the Premium service which if booked before 2pm we will endeavour to call out to you the following day with a morning or afternoon time slot that suits you best!!!
